Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with the preparation and layout of hardscape projects according to construction plans and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to install pavers, stonework, retaining walls, and other hardscape features
- Mix and apply materials such as concrete, mortar, caulking, and plaster for proper installation of building materials
- Support with site cleanup, material handling, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols throughout all phases of outdoor work
- Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications
- Collaborate with team members on tasks like tile laying, flooring installation, window installation, and cabinet setup as needed
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment on construction projects
Skills
- Proven construction experience with knowledge of building material installation and outdoor work environments
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation for various installation tasks
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for reviewing construction plans and technical drawings
- Experience with construction management processes including estimating, inspection, and project coordination
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, trim carpentry, plastering, caulking, remodeling and window or cabinet installation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in hardscape installation
