Overview
We are looking a Housekeeping Supervisor, will be responsible for scheduling weekly work for housekeeping & maintenance team, will supervise the hotel housekeeping inspectors, also will be in charge of the vacation schedule, and the low season, candidate will be responsible for work every day with the payroll, and any other task.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning services.
- Train and mentor team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
- Oversee the use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of work areas to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; place orders as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, incident reports, and safety audits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, often with a degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- At least one to three years of housekeeping experience.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and sanitation practices.
- Experience with infection control protocols and maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently; experience with pressure washers preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing supplies and schedules.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) but not required.
