Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely operate the ice cream truck along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner to promote products and upsell items when appropriate
- Manage pricing transactions accurately using cashless or cash payment systems
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading supplies
- Maintain organized routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding product offerings, specials, and promotions
- Merchandize products attractively on the truck to boost sales and enhance visual appeal
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
Experience
- Prior commercial driving experience preferred, especially with route driving or mobile sales operations
- Strong math skills for handling pricing, transactions, and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse customers and team members
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques to increase product sales effectively
- Organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and inventory efficiently
- Physical ability for heavy lifting during loading/unloading activities
- Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline, organizational skills, and reliability
