American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU and general care experience for a night shift travel assignment at an academic medical center.

Inpatient hospital setting in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit

Adult ICU and general care patient population
-
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating is required
-
Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
-
13-week assignment
-
Current RRT credential required
-
Missouri (MO) or Compact state license required; pending licenses may be accepted
-
License required if applicable
-
Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty

Adult ICU and general care experience required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
-
2 professional references required for consideration

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced rate

Role involves respiratory and neuro diagnostics services in an acute care hospital environment

This is an active, physically demanding position with regular patient contact, including patients with contagious illnesses
-
The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
