Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cafeteria Manager to lead our school’s dining services. In this vital role, you will oversee daily cafeteria operations, ensure food safety and quality, and deliver exceptional service to our students and staff. Your leadership will help create a positive dining experience that supports the school’s educational mission and promotes healthy eating habits.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of cafeteria operations, including food preparation, service, and clean-up
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food storage practices
- Uphold high standards of food safety, customer service, and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards
- Coordinate food production, catering events, and special meal programs
- Monitor Lunch schedules
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Link2feed
- Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain detailed records of transactions
- Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management preferred
