This role supports the daily operation of the Printing Department to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The Printing Lead provides leadership, training, and technical support to department associates while coordinating daily activities to meet production goals. This position plays a vital role in maintaining equipment performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and promoting a culture of safety, food packaging quality, and operational excellence.

Support the daily operation of the Printing Department to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

Lead and support team members in achieving safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance objectives.

Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and food packaging quality standards.

Coordinate daily workforce activities and adjust staffing assignments to maximize equipment utilization and production efficiency.

Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, training, and performance feedback to printing department associates.

Support continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, problem-solving, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination.

Monitor production performance and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Communicate department needs, priorities, and operational concerns to leadership.

Serve as the department leader in the absence of the Department Manager.

Maintain compliance with GMP, food packaging safety, quality standards, and company procedures.

High school diploma or GED required.

Ability to read, understand, and apply information from instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and work instructions.
