RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Painter/Scaffolder to join our team. This dual-role position involves installing, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems as well as performing high-quality surface preparation and painting. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and experience working in construction or industrial environments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Painting Duties
o Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, pressure-washing, or applying primer.
o Apply paint, stain, coatings, or sealants using brush, roller, or spray equipment.
o Mix paints and coatings to achieve proper color and consistency.
o Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and masking materials.
o Perform touch-ups, refinishing, and quality inspections to meet finish standards.
o Structural plastering for exterior building is a plus.
· Scaffolding Duties
o Install, modify and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with OSHA safety regulations and project requirements.
o Conduct inspections of scaffolding to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs.
o Ensure all scaffolding is built level, stable, and properly braced.
o Load, unload, and organize scaffolding components at the worksite.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience as a painter, scaffolder, or similar construction role.
· Working knowledge of scaffolding components, rigging, and safety standards.
· Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
· Must demonstrateknowledge of painting tools, equipment, materials, and application techniques.
· Must be skilled in the preparation and application of paints, stains, and surface prep materials.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Indoor/outdoor environment.
*Must adhere to company no cell phone/texting policy when traveling by car.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
