- Faith House Group Home is a licensed Youth Residential Center II (YRC II) providing a safe,
structured, trauma-informed residential environment for adolescents. Our mission is to help youth
develop life skills, confidence, and independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Position Summary
- Provide direct supervision and support to adolescents in residential care while maintaining a safe,
therapeutic, and structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise residents according to staffing ratios.
- Maintain a safe and structured environment.
- Complete daily documentation and incident reports.
- Use trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.
- Transport residents to appointments, school, and activities.
- Assist with medications when authorized.
- Teach life skills and facilitate recreation.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow Kansas DCF regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 21 (or as required by licensing).
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Pass required background checks.
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred Experience
- Residential care, juvenile justice, foster care, behavioral health, education, or human services.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
