Overview
We are seeking a Part Tine dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare and Boarding Attendant to join our team.
Shift hours are Weeknights 3 or 4pm - 9pm AND Weekends 7:30am- 2:30pm or 2pm- 9pm. Must be available some holidays. We pay bonuses and tips, offer 401k retirement, provide uniforms and paid lunch if you work 8 hours or more per day.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our daycare and Boarding facility. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will ensure that each dog receives the care and attention they deserve while their owners are away.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and proper behavior.
- Implement structured activities and play sessions to promote socialization among dogs.
- Monitor the health and well-being of all dogs in the daycare, reporting any concerns to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including dog areas, feeding stations, and restrooms.
- Assist with feeding, administering medications, and ensuring that all dogs have access to fresh water.
- Handle any behavioral issues or conflicts between dogs with appropriate animal restraint techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for both dogs and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in animal handling, dog handling, or pet sitting are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds). Must be able to stand on your feet for your entire shift.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both dogs and their owners.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
