Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with confidence
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to enhance sales performance
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are attractively presented
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves regularly and assisting with stock counts to keep the store well-organized and inviting
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times
- Support team members by supervising during busy periods, helping with product demos, or assisting in training new staff members when needed
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first mindset above all else
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions and reporting
- Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service through strong communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory; we appreciate proactive individuals eager to grow their leadership skills
