Key Qualifications:
- Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (or equivalent) is required
- Background in Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or similar settings is highly preferred
- Experience with both elementary and/or middle school populations is beneficial
- Strong commitment to inclusive education, individualized instruction, and student growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to students identified with mild to moderate disabilities in both group and individual settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster academic and social-emotional success
- Conduct assessments and provide input for ongoing student evaluations
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to ongoing compliance and program improvement
