Position Overview
We're seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our Customer Care division who enjoys the technical side of digital marketing. This role focuses on maintaining and improving websites, implementing SEO recommendations, publishing new content, supporting marketing campaigns, and ensuring every client deliverable meets KARMA jack's quality standards.
You'll work closely with our Customer Care and Creative teams to execute marketing initiatives while helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Success in this role comes from consistency, attention to detail, organization, and a genuine desire to produce high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing website maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
- Implement technical SEO improvements and on-page optimization recommendations.
- Create and publish new website pages, blogs, landing pages, and other web content.
- Apply visual brand updates across existing websites.
- Utilize AI tools to assist with copywriting, research, data analysis, and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor websites for broken pages, formatting issues, technical errors, and user experience improvements.
- Support website launches, redesigns, migrations, and ongoing optimization projects.
- Build and edit email marketing campaigns.
- Assist with marketing platform integrations, tracking implementation, and digital tools.
- Review work for accuracy, consistency, and brand standards before launch.
- Organize digital assets, follow file structures, and maintain internal processes.
- Communicate project updates clearly with internal teams and assist in solving client requests.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, website management, SEO, web production, or a related field.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
- Experience working in a professional office environment.
- Strong written communication and editing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable learning new digital platforms and technologies.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to balance efficiency and quality.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Experience using project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar.
- Ability to work full-time, in-office, while collaborating within a fast-paced team environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience with WordPress and visual page builders.
- Experience with email marketing platforms.
- Working knowledge of SEO strategy and technical SEO best practices.
- Experience writing blogs, website copy, or other marketing content.
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar productivity tools.
- Marketing agency experience.
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Google Search Console experience.
- Experience with website migrations or CMS management.
