Under general direction of the DTD/ITSB Chief, the incumbent is responsible for supervising the work of the Automated License Data System Unit including activities relating to application development, support, business analysis, and project management. As part of the supervisory duties, the incumbent shall manage the unit’s administrative processes such as hiring, vacation/sick leave requests, overtime, timesheet and travel authorizations.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of IT and the System Development Life Cycle, Project Management and experience running application development teams and business analyst, and a strong desire to manage and develop technical staff.

This position may be eligible for a telework opportunity in accordance with departmental policies and operational needs. Employees are currently required to work in-person at least two (2) days per week. Beginning July 1, 2026, employees will be required to work in-person at least four (4) days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. Additional in-office days may be required based on operational needs.

The duties of this position are primarily conducted indoors in a professional office environment, in a climate-controlled cubicle which can fluctuate in temperature and is under artificial light. The position involves sitting most of the time but also requires walking or standing, required to use a computer, mouse, keyboard, and will be required to focus and sit for long periods of time at a computer screen, multi-tasking, adapting to changes in priorities, and completing tasks or projects with short notice.
This position may be expected to travel out of state up to 5% of the time, annually to the vendors’ facility via private or public transportation.
