Company Description
Life After Birth® is a maternal mental health practice supporting individuals, couples, and families from the journey of trying to conceive through parenthood. We provide therapy, education, resources, and community designed to help people navigate the emotional, relational, and day-to-day changes that can accompany fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.
Our work is grounded in making reproductive and perinatal mental health support more accessible, thoughtful, and inclusive. Through clinical care, digital resources, online programs, and collaborative partnerships, we aim to meet people with support that feels both compassionate and useful.
Life After Birth is a small, close-knit team working in a flexible, remote environment. We value warmth, responsiveness, initiative, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to supporting parents and families with care.
Now Hiring: Marketing & Operations Coordinator
Life After Birth is a growing maternal mental health practice, and we’re looking to expand our small, close-knit team with a thoughtful, highly organized Marketing & Operations Coordinator.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats across website and digital operations, marketing support, client communication, and the day-to-day needs of a growing practice.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with a small team, takes genuine ownership of their work, and is comfortable moving between different types of responsibilities throughout the week. The right person notices the details, communicates warmly and professionally, and doesn’t need to be given a step-by-step roadmap in order to move something forward.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking a project from “this needs to happen” all the way through completion.

Client Communication & Day-to-Day Operations
- Respond promptly, warmly, and professionally to form submissions and emails
- Support client and administrative workflows within Jane, our practice management platform
- Support day-to-day business operations as needed
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with prospective and current clients
- Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Take ownership of projects and carry them from initial planning through completion
What We’re Looking For

- Strong written communication skills
- Basic SEO knowledge, including image optimization, blog formatting, and metadata
- Experience creating simple social media graphics and supporting online engagement
- Experience contributing to social media growth is strongly preferred
- Comfort learning and navigating practice management software such as Jane

- Comfortable troubleshooting and finding solutions independently
- Comfortable taking projects from start to finish
- Someone who genuinely enjoys the variety that comes with working on a small, growing team
Our Non-Negotiables
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting approach to problem-solving.
We’re looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative—someone who is responsive, follows through, asks thoughtful questions when needed, and is comfortable figuring things out independently.
Because we’re a small team, reliability, communication, and ownership matter deeply. We want someone who enjoys being an important part of the day-to-day workings of a growing maternal mental health practice and is excited to help us continue building and improving as we grow.
