Position Summary
We’re seeking a reliable Handyman/Carpenter to join our team. This position involves a wide variety of residential maintenance, repair, and remodeling projects. Every day is different, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills while helping homeowners improve their homes.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general residential maintenance and repair work
- Complete rough and finish carpentry projects
- Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, and cabinetry
- Install flooring, including LVP, laminate, hardwood, and tile
- Assist with kitchen and bathroom remodels
- Hang drywall, complete drywall repairs, mud, tape, sand, and texture
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces
- Perform demolition and job site preparation
- Complete punch-list items and finish work
- Assist with deck and fence repairs
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and fixture installations
- Perform basic electrical work within experience level
- Safely operate power tools and hand tools
- Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and team members
- Follow company safety standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous handyman, carpentry, remodeling, or construction experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Comfortable using common hand tools and power tools, or willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
