Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Follow established recipes, menu plans, and food safety standards to deliver exceptional meals
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options and improving existing dishes
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work stations
- Support catering events or special breakfast service requests as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
- Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments demonstrates strong culinary skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and food presentation are highly valued
- Background in catering or food service industries will support your success in this role
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
