Certified Medical Assistant – Temp-to-Perm
Location: East Orlando
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No Weekends
All’s Well Health Care Services is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join an established physician practice specializing in geriatric care and Medicare Risk.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Medical Assistant who is bilingual in English and Spanish, has strong phlebotomy skills, and is comfortable working in a busy physician office. Front office experience is also required.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of solid, recent Medical Assistant experience both front and back office.
Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong phlebotomy/blood draw skills
Must be flexible to cover front office
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) , MA Diploma accepted.
Strong patient intake and vital signs experience
Experience working in a physician office or outpatient setting
Comfortable working with a geriatric patient population
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
Check ins, scheduling, verifying insurance.
Room patients and prepare them for examinations
Obtain and accurately document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and blood draws
Review and update patient medical histories
Assist physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Communicate physician orders and instructions to patients
Coordinate patient follow-up and procedures
Complete assigned HEDIS reports and follow up on requested patient services
Maintain clinical supplies and inventory
Follow HIPAA, safety, and practice procedures
Provide compassionate care to the practice’s geriatric patient population.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
