Jimmy’s Roofing is looking for an experienced Sales Estimator to join our growing residential roofing team. This is a hybrid salary + commission position that provides the stability of a base salary while rewarding strong sales performance.
This position does require canvassing. You will be expected to generate opportunities in the field by engaging homeowners and identifying potential roofing needs, in addition to working company-provided leads.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with homeowners and perform residential roof inspections
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Educate customers on roofing systems, materials, warranties, and options
- Canvass neighborhoods to generate new roofing opportunities
- Follow up with leads and close residential roofing projects
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through signed contract
- Maintain accurate customer and project information
- Work closely with production and project management
- Represent Jimmy’s Roofing professionally throughout the customer experience

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in residential roofing sales and estimating
- Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems
- Experience inspecting roofs and identifying roofing issues
- Ability to prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Proven ability to close sales
- Comfortable and willing to perform door-to-door canvassing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
