Greenbrier Humane Society is seeking a Kennel Technician.
Job Duties:
- Clean and disinfect kennels and crates.
- Clean common areas and/or equipment throughout the shelter
- Collect, wash and distribute food and water bowls
- Collect, wash and distribute linens
- Provide daily exercise and various animal enrichment activities throughout the day
- Assist with animals for assessment by animal care staff
(These duties are illustrative only and various other duties may be required as need demands.)
Physical Demands:
- Required to be able to stand, walk, crouch, crawl and reach often
- Must be able to regularly lift, move, and restrain animals weighing up to 50lbs and occasionally lift, move and restrain animals weighing up to 100lbs with assistance
- Persons performing this job must NOT be allergic to animals or common cleaning agents
Schedule:
- Days
- Evenings
- Must be available on weekends and/or holidays
