Job Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a respectful, professional, and courteous
- Work collaboratively to achieve hotel and brand goals
- Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms and public areas.
- Receive and document guest complaints
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked Housekeeping carts and Back out house
- Deliver requested guest amenities to rooms.
- Complete all required daily shift checklists and operational reports.
- Communicate with the Front Desk regarding completed rooms.
- Communicate and document maintenance requests.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) inspections and procedures to ensure the department meets company and brand requirements.
- Assist in obtaining and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and effectively manage inventory levels
- Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage.
- Supervise the Housekeepers, Laundry Attendant, and houseman by assisting with recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and corrective action.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, storage areas, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards, and communicate deficiencies and corrective actions to staff as needed.
- Receive, document, investigate, and resolve guest complaints
- Assist with laundry operations, provide coverage for Houseman, and support room cleaning assignments as needed.
- Assign guest rooms and work areas based on occupancy, staffing levels, and operational needs to ensure efficient workload distribution.
- Assign, supervise, and inspect housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure quality standards and efficient completion of duties.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experiance

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
