Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the electrical department.

Recruit, interview, hire, train, and mentor electricians and apprentices.

Conduct regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

Ensure technicians provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Monitor department performance, including revenue, profitability, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Schedule and coordinate workloads to maximize efficiency and meet service demands.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Address customer concerns and resolve escalated service issues promptly.

Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Conduct team meetings and ongoing technical and sales training.

Review job quality, callbacks, and warranty work to identify improvement opportunities.

Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present results to leadership.
Requirements:

Journeyman or Master Electrician license.

5+ years of residential electrical experience.

Previous leadership or management experience in an electrical service environment.

Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with scheduling software and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceTitan or similar).

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
