Position Overview
Prairieland Title is a small boutique title company serving discerning residential and commercial real estate clients throughout North Texas. We are known for exceptional customer service, accuracy, and professionalism.
We are seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to support our escrow officers in managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. The ideal candidate is a friendly, detail-oriented professional with direct title and escrow experience who thrives in a fast-paced, in-office environment. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to accuracy, exceptional client service, and a willingness to wear multiple hats, working collaboratively with the team and contributing wherever needed to ensure a smooth, professional closing experience for every client.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist escrow officers with file preparation, documentation, and transaction coordination
· Open and maintain escrow files in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
· Order title commitments, payoffs, surveys, HOA information, and other closing documents
· Communicate with lenders, real estate agents, buyers, sellers, and attorneys
· Review documents for accuracy and completeness
· Prepare closing packages and assist with scheduling closings
· Maintain accurate records and meet critical deadlines
Qualifications
· Minimum of two years of Texas title or escrow experience required.
· Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize multiple transactions while meeting critical deadlines.
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional and courteous customer service skills.
· Working knowledge of Texas residential and commercial real estate transactions.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and title production software.
· Experience with SoftPro preferred but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
