We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily operations at Kókomo and ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. As the assistant manager, you will support the store manager in motivating the sales team to meet sales goals, implementing business strategies, and upholding the store's operational and organizational standards. Additionally, you will assist with recruiting, hiring, and training new staff, and take on other administrative tasks as needed, such as monitoring inventory levels. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong leadership and support skills.
Objectives of this role
- Assist in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support the store manager in maintaining outstanding visual merchandising standards and a welcoming store atmosphere.
- Help oversee sales team recruitment and facilitate training processes.
- Aid in creating a clean and safe store environment that complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
- Set a strong, professional example for store associates to follow.
Requirements
- Experience supporting or leading a team in a retail environment.
