Teacher Assistant – 2026–2027 School Year
New Dimensions Charter School (NDS) is seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Teacher Assistant to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to supporting classroom instruction and helping create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for students.
Position Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher with daily instruction and classroom activities

Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning

Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and student supervision

Help maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment

Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development

Assist with transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed

Communicate effectively and professionally with staff and students

Support school-wide initiatives and uphold the mission of NDS
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or coursework in education preferred)

Experience working with children preferred

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Strong communication and organizational skills
