Position Summary:
Firm in Peachtree City, GA seeks full time Bookkeeper.
Candidate must be extremely professional in appearance and manner, willing to accept direction, detail oriented, quick to learn new things, customer service oriented, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Core working hours are 8:30 AM t0 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with significant seasonal increase in hours from February 1st to April 15th, and Saturdays may be required during tax season.

We are a growing CPA firm dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through accurate financial reporting, exceptional client service, and trusted accounting expertise. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with multiple clients, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.
Position Requirement:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience; experience in a CPA firm is a plus.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
· Experience with QuickBooks Online required; QuickBooks Desktop experience is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
· Experience with payroll processing and sales tax reporting preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize multiple client deadlines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Job Duties
· Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple small business clients.
· Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
· Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
· Maintain general ledgers and supporting documentation.
· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
· Generate financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
· Process payroll or coordinate with payroll service providers.
· Prepare and file sales tax returns when applicable.
· Organize and maintain electronic client files and financial records.
· Communicate professionally with clients to obtain information and answer bookkeeping questions.
· Assist CPAs with tax preparation by ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
· Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements to clients and internal staff.
