SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate 3 has working knowledge and understands company processes in ALL of the following areas;
1. Off-Loading (Lumpers) of Containers of product
2. Driver – Off loading Containers
3. Denesting of Luggage
4. Dot Com Area
5. Specialty Area
6. Order Puller / Shipper
7. Returns Processing
For each area of responsibility, the assigned staff must follow set company and customer standards/requirements.
Job Function – By Area
1.) Off Loading of Containers
a. Down stack cartons into 4,6,8 and 10 piece stacks
b. Validate each SKU, and place into appropriate like stack
c. Apply stocking tape to stack for proper storage in warehouse
d. In teams of 2, maintain a off load time window of 2 hours or less on each container
2.) Driver – Off Loading Containers
a. Forklift certification required
b. From provided container status report, follow off load by oldest date first unless otherwise instructed by management.
c. Direct Lumpers to appropriate container to off load
d. Keep record of each SKU and counts on receiving tally sheet
e. Coordinate with Inventory Supervisor on placement of off loaded inventory into appropriate warehouse location(s).
f. Upon completion of container, turn in completed receiving tally sheet to Receiving Supervisor.
3.) Denesting of Luggage
a. Remove luggage from carton
b. Remove plastic outer bag
c. Remove nested smaller luggage
d. Remove foam and paper inserts
e. Place plastic bag of luggage and place in appropriate size carton
f. Tape and stack like luggage into 4,6,8 and/or 10 piece stacks
4.) Dot Com Area
a. Denesting of luggage (see 3 above)
b. Order puller
c. Apply shipping labels and pack slips to shipments
d. Sorting and loading of parcel freight
e. Inventory put backs and organization for zone 1
5.) Specialty Area
a. Denesting of luggage (see 3 above)
b. Order puller
c. Prepping and validating freight for LTL shipments
d. BOL creation/validation and driver sign off.
e. Apply shipping labels and pack slips to shipments
f. Inventory put backs and organization
g. Forklift certified
6.) Returns Processing
a. Received incoming return parcels
b. Document return parcels following company processes
c. Package salable returns in appropriate packaging
d. Stock salable returns to appropriate inventory location
e. Process orders for Stephanie Johnson orders following company processes
f. Apply shipping labels and pack slips to shipments
g. Sorting and loading of parcel freight
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not directly supervise personnel, however the ideal candidate must be confident and tactful with coaching employees on processes, best practices, and quality related industry standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED equivalent required. Further education welcomed but not required.
General knowledge warehouse terminology and tasks is required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Must be able to read and speak English.
Strength to lift 60 lbs of merchandise
Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
Motivated to train and learn
Forklift certification required for Off Loading containers Driver, Order Puller, specialty and Dot Com area.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The job operates in a distribution plant operation and office environment. This role may use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, clamp trucks, computers and phones.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Hours/days of work will be Monday-Friday 6am – 2:30pm, may fluctuate as needed and required. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance is required.
