Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders
- Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure order accuracy and packaging standards are met
- Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch
- Stock shelves efficiently by following proper stocking procedures and maintaining organized storage areas
- Perform mechanical tasks related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance when necessary
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by coordinating order picking & packing tasks while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers, with familiarity in order fulfillment processes
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, or mechanical lifting devices
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing
- Strong knowledge of materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and quality control standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and standing for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills for warehouse equipment
- Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or leadership positions is a plus but not required
