Bartender Job Description:

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to follow procedures, work independently, and work as part of a team. Experience is required.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Present bar menu and make recommendations to customers based on their needs
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food safety regulations
- Handle all special needs requests of guests (e.g. telling guests how their food will be served at their table)
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and cleanest of all
- Assist other departments as needed or requested
