Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing
Formulate cost breakdown from estimates, and assist PM with costs for negotiations.

Previous experience estimating projects into the $5 million range
Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet design
Understand contractual terms and conditions
Ability to use Sage/ Timberline
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally/written, with subcontractors, internal and external customers
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the construction field in similar or related position
Must have a valid Driver’s License
