Job Summary
The Good Shepherd Lutheran School is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st/2nd Grade Teacher beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time teaching position in a Christ-centered educational environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification (required)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and emotional growth of each student
Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc.)
- Create and implement lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs
- Integrate faith and biblical principles into daily teaching
- Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to support school-wide initiatives
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
