At Paddles Up Poke, our Team Members are the heart of the guest experience. Team Members are responsible for creating a welcoming, energetic environment while serving fresh, high-quality food quickly and accurately.
This is a hands-on position where everyone works together. From greeting guests and building bowls to preparing ingredients and keeping the restaurant clean, Team Members help make sure every guest leaves happy.
We are looking for people who are positive, dependable, hardworking, coachable, and ready to be part of a team.Restaurant experience is helpful, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are even more important.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Greet every guest with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide fast, knowledgeable, and helpful service.
- Guide guests through the menu and answer questions about ingredients, toppings, sauces, and menu options.
- Build bowls accurately according to guest requests and Paddles Up Poke standards.
- Create an experience that makes guests want to come back.
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and company standards.
- Maintain proper portion sizes and presentation.
- Keep the service line stocked, organized, clean, and ready for business.
- Follow proper food handling, temperature, storage, dating, and labeling procedures.
- Help maintain the freshness and quality our guests expect from Paddles Up Poke.
Restaurant Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant throughout the entire shift.
- Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, tables, dining areas, restrooms, and food preparation areas.
- Wash dishes and properly store clean equipment and utensils.
- Sweep, mop, take out trash, and complete assigned cleaning duties.
- Take ownership of cleanliness rather than waiting to be asked.
Teamwork
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and managers.
- Jump in and help wherever needed during busy periods.
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work.
- Complete opening, shift-change, and closing responsibilities.
- Accept coaching and use feedback to improve.
- Help create a positive workplace where teammates support one another.

Scheduling
Team Members may be scheduled for a variety of shifts depending on restaurant needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable attendance and arriving on time for scheduled shifts are essential parts of the position.

Our starting pay for Team Members is $11-$12 an hour depending on experience. We guarantee a minimum of $4 an hour in tips, but average $5-$8/hr more in tips. Other Perks include shift bowls, employee discount, referral bonus, tickets to local sporting events, gym membership, flexible schedules, and great work environment.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
