Experienced Gun Loader
JOB SUMMARY: This position performs work in building and loading select fire perforating guns for wireline pump down operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Understand and adhere to all Tier 1 Completions Solutions Inc. (Tier 1) policies and procedures, furthermore, understand and adhere to any client’s policies and procedures;

Builds perforating guns according to needs and specifications;
-
Sets the tools needed for the job based on specifications;
-
Maintains adequate inventory of guns and explosives and other materials as required;
-
Keeps logbook up to date;
-
Ensures work area is kept clean and safe;
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Previous gun building experience highly preferred;
-
Basic mechanical skills and oilfield knowledge;
-
Working knowledge of safety practices and awareness of surrounding for safety;
-
Ability to work well with others in a team environment with good customer service skills;
-
Basic wiring skills.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
-
Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders, terrain);
-
Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling (70 pounds);
-
Frequent bending, twisting and standing;
-
Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather conditions;
-
Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week;
-
Working with explosives.

Precise hand eye coordination

Basic keyboard and other skills

Operation of heavy equipment or vehicles

Work nights and/or weekends
Educations, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Valid Driver’s license required;
-
CDL License with Class A and Hazmat Endorsement is an asset but not required;

First Aid and CPR certified highly preferred
Qualifications:
-
Results from a pre-employment test must be deemed acceptable in accordance with Tier 1’s policies;
-
5 years commercial/drivers abstract must be in compliant with Tier 1’s guidelines
-
Must have the ability to pass a federal background check
-
Preference will be given to candidates that reside in the immediate area of the position
-
Must be authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
