Overview
ProFound Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Yonkers, NY.
We offer flexible scheduling with opportunities to build consistent, ongoing hours based on your availability and performance. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or supplemental hours, we have shifts available across the week.
While shifts are available throughout the week, evening, overnight, and weekend availability offers the strongest opportunity for consistent scheduling.
Current Shift Opportunities
All Locations (Based on Availability & Placement):
Afternoon / Evening Shifts:
- 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (High Priority)
Day Shifts (Weekdays):
Morning Shifts (Weekends):
- 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (High Priority)
Overnight Shifts (Weekdays/Weekends):
Scheduling & Expectations
We offer flexibility in scheduling; however:
Staff are expected to commit to the shifts they accept and maintain consistency week to week.
Reliable staff are prioritized for ongoing schedules and preferred placements.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to children and young adults with IDD
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Bathing/showering — washing, hygiene
- Dressing — selecting and putting on appropriate clothing
- Toileting — using the bathroom, continence management
- Transferring/mobility — moving from bed to chair, walking, positioning
- Eating/feeding — getting food from plate to mouth, chewing, swallowing
- Personal hygiene — brushing teeth, grooming, nail care
- Support behavioral, emotional, and social development
- Follow individualized care and behavior plans
- Maintain a safe, structured environment
- Complete documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with caregiving, children, or IDD preferred
- Must pass background checks
- Patient, dependable, and compassionate
