JOB The Division of Allied Health Sciences is seeking Part Time Hourly Instructors for our American Heart Association courses. As a part time AHA specialist, you work with students at a college to provide the knowledge and training they need to be successful in their chosen career. Your ability to work on a course-by-course basis gives you the flexibility to choose when you want to work and when you don't. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Typical duties of AHA instructors include but aren't limited to:
- Teach community & technical college students in a specific field of expertise and engage with students to help them learn.
- Plan and execute the AHA curriculum
- Grade students post AHA exams and practical skill evaluations
- Properly fill out required rosters, skill evaluations, and other AHA paperwork
- Advise students on how to be successful in class
- Stay updated on innovations and changes within their course field SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Position open until filled.
Adjunct pay dependent on degree level.
