Shamrock Tire & Auto Repair is a family owned business in Wichita, KS. We are looking to add an additional mechanic as soon as possible. This person needs to be self motivated and willing to work. We do require an attention to detail which we feel is imparative to this line of work.
Duties:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as tune-ups and fluid replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about vehicle repairs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with automotive repair work
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle problems
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
