Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aviation Accessories Technician to join our Accessories Shop.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands and has excellent mechanical aptitude, dexterity, and attention to detail. Aviation experience is highly valued; however, candidates with strong mechanical repair experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or other precision mechanical environments are encouraged to apply.
This position is well suited for an individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys diagnosing mechanical problems, disassembling and rebuilding components, and working with small parts and precision assemblies.

Essential Responsibilities
- Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, assemble, and test aviation accessories and related components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement requirements.
- Work with precision mechanical components, assemblies, fasteners, springs, bearings, seals, and other small parts.
- Follow technical manuals, manufacturer instructions, drawings, specifications, and approved repair procedures.
- Perform detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, defects, and other conditions affecting component serviceability.
- Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, shop equipment, and specialized tooling safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, measurements, and component condition.
- Follow all applicable FAA, regulatory, company, and quality-control requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement of shop processes, tooling, and repair procedures.
Required
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in aviation, aerospace, automotive, or a similar mechanical repair environment required.
- Relevant technical training, certifications, or demonstrated mechanical proficiency may be considered in place of some formal experience.
- Candidates with strong mechanical experience in the automotive, diesel, motorcycle, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or other precision mechanical fields will also be considered.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with small, intricate components and precision assemblies.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, drawings, and written procedures.
- Comfortable using hand tools, measuring tools, and mechanical shop equipment.
Preferred
- Aviation or aerospace experience is highly desirable, particularly experience involving component repair, overhaul, inspection, or assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how mechanical systems function.
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour
