Job Type: Full-time
As a Superintendent at Kingery, you will need to excel in managing day-to-day job site activities for construction projects. We want you to take pride in your finished work and foster a positive work environment. From the initial conceptual development to the completion, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining close working relationships with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
- Reviewing constructability options and recommend solutions based on cost, quality, or material availability.
- Interpreting plans and specifications, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.
- Presenting information effectively to executives and public groups.
- Applying mathematical concepts to practical situations, including material and labor calculations.
- Assisting in creating schedules with the project manager, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
- Possessing strong organizational skills.
- Traveling to job sites as required.
- Promoting job site safety and correcting hazards immediately.
- Ordering materials and coordinating subcontractor work.
- Directing field personnel to complete the project on time, within budget, and according to plans and specifications.
- Scheduling inspections.
- Supervising the completion of the final punch list.
- Displaying strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Safely operate sharp tools and power equipment.
- Work in diverse weather conditions and terrains.
- Possess manual dexterity, balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Demonstrate physical strength, stamina, and balance for various job tasks.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push or pull loads of similar weight.
- Stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to eight hours daily while handling materials.
