POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
- Join a premier FAA Part 145 Repair Station specializing in heavy maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, completions, and refurbishment of a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft.
- As an Avionics Installer, you'll support installation and modification projects by fabricating and installing aircraft wiring, routing electrical systems, and integrating avionics components on commercial, VIP, corporate, government, and law enforcement helicopters while ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and airworthiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, route, secure, and terminate aircraft wiring and electrical harnesses.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation drawings.
- Crimp, pin, depin, and assemble connectors and wire harnesses to aircraft standards.
- Route, reroute, and secure wiring throughout aircraft during maintenance and modification projects.
- Install avionics components, electrical equipment, and supporting hardware.
- Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing to verify proper installation.
- Complete work in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, engineering drawings, and company procedures.
- Accurately document work performed and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure quality workmanship and on-time aircraft delivery.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Electrical, avionics installation, wire harness, or aircraft electrical experience preferred.
- Strong electrical background required.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience with wire routing, crimping, pinning, depinning, and connector assembly.
- Aviation experience preferred but not required.
- Candidates with military, aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, industrial electrical, or similar electrical installation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Authorization to Work in the U.S. Required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
