Are you a detail-oriented quality professional who thrives on solving problems and driving continuous improvement? We’re looking for a Quality Control Specialist for our aerospace manufacturing facility to help uphold manufacturing excellence on our production floor, someone who knows their way around measurement equipment, process audits, and structured problem-solving.
What You’ll Do

Conduct in-process product audits on production lines and communicate findings to the QA/QC Manager

Identify, contain, and disposition non-conforming parts using 5 Why, DMAIC, and 4-Step Problem-Solving methodologies

Collaborate with the Metrology Department to calibrate gauges, check fixtures, and measurement devices

Perform daily process checks, validate measurement data, and ensure out-of-spec conditions are handled correctly

Support process capability studies, validate equipment, and implement error-proofing solutions

Facilitate quality training and monitor application of best practices on the production floor
What You Bring

2–5 years of quality and/or manufacturing experience (aerospace industry preferred)

Foundational knowledge of quality management systems, SPC, and process capability analysis

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and dimensional specifications

Hands-on experience with metrology practices and manufacturing measurement devices

Proficiency with structured problem-solving frameworks (5 Why, DMAIC, Lean)

Experience with Visual Quality or a comparable quality management system

Strong communication skills, able to convey technical information to cross-functional teams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Education & Certifications
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

2–4 years of experience facilitating training in a manufacturing environment

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred (not required)
