CDL Driver Wanted
Full Time or Part Time
Contractor is looking for a reliable full time or part time driver to assist with deliveries, vehicle movement, permit filing, and general company support.
This position is a great fit for a retiree or experienced driver looking for steady part time or full time work.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver plumbing materials, parts, tools, and equipment from vendors, our warehouse, and company locations to various job sites.
File permits with various municipalities.
Drop off and pick up company vehicles for scheduled maintenance appointments.
Pick up, drop off, and move company equipment to and from job sites.
Operate different company vehicles depending on the task.
Vehicle Use
Most of the work will involve driving an automatic pickup truck with an 8 foot bed to move smaller parts and equipment. This will be approximately 85 percent of the week.
Some work will involve driving an automatic 16 foot rack body truck with a lift gate to move medium sized equipment and materials. This will be approximately 5 percent of the week.
Occasional work will involve driving a manual transmission dump truck with a trailer to move heavy machinery or larger equipment. This will be approximately 10 percent of the week.
Basic Requirements
Clean and valid driver’s license.
CDL license required.
Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
Must be comfortable driving company vehicles, including commercial plated vehicles.
Must be reliable, organized, and able to communicate clearly with the office and field crews.
Must be able to follow instructions and safely handle company equipment and materials.
Company vehicle will be provided. You will not be required to use your personal vehicle.
