About the Opportunity
WinnCompanies is looking for a detailed and motivated Financial Analyst II to join our finance team in Fresno, CA.
This role will sit in our Fresno Regional office. In this role, you will be responsible for data collection and reporting of a portfolio of multi-family housing entities, assisting with preparation of annual budgets and other special projects as required by Management Company and owners.
Please note that the pay range for this position is $70,304 - $78,000 annually. Final salary will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Additionally, the selected candidate will typically work: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial and operational planning, budgeting, reforecasting, data management, analysis and reporting, ensuring all internal and external financial reporting requirements and deadlines are met
- Produce payroll billing tracker and allocation reimbursement report to sites
- Work closely with AR on collection of all payroll reimbursement
- Monitor all Accounting functions: AR, AP, General Ledger review, Payroll
- Work closely with various departments in ensuring full data integrity and quality reporting
- Participate in executive level meetings communicating key findings of analyses and recommendations
- Complete ad hoc assignments as needed by the Corporate Controller
- Able to set priorities and manage a process
- Support high level financial and operational planning, budgeting, reforecasting, data management, analysis and reporting, ensuring all internal and external financial reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
- Monitor all Accounting functions: AR, AP, General Ledger review, Rent Roll management. Review, track and support replacement reserve activity.
- Identify and improve financial status of properties by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, communicating important findings swiftly and recommending actions to management.
- Work closely with various departments in ensuring full data integrity and quality reporting. Provide support, analysis and recommendations on key strategies and initiatives. Identify notable issues and orchestrate resolutions with team members.
- Participate in executive level and client meetings, communicating key findings of analyses and recommendations.
- Complete ad hoc assignments as needed by the E/S/D/R Vice President.
- Train and mentor site and corporate level associates as needed on financial related topics.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Finance/Accounting.
- 1-3 years of required experience in affordable housing or real estate industry.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Experience with property management software preferred.
- Demonstrated Excel experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of financial related experience.
- A solid understanding of Accounting is recommended (Public Accounting experience preferred).
- RealPage experience a plus.
