Job Summary
High Level Enterprises Inc specializes in upfitting all types of vehicles and manufacturing transit buses. We are looking for an Engineer/Product Designer to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meet all necessary design responsibilities. The pay rate will be based on years of experience and/or education.
Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth understanding of current Company’s methods and activities
- Gain deep understanding of customer requirements at the front end of quoting process
- Understand BOMs, current cost model, labor rates, overhead costing
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Work closely with Sales/Bid team
- Create and maintain AutoCAD layouts.
- Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and on time
- Implements and applies compliant engineering standards and procedures.
- Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
- Evaluate the final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
Skills
- Proven working experience in engineering/project design
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
- Proficient in SolidWorks/Inventor
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Proven work history
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
