Frontier Management is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Merrimac Crossing Apartments in Williamsburg, VA.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving maintenance challenges, and is committed to providing excellent service to our residents. If you have HVAC certification, solid plumbing experience, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems
- Perform plumbing repairs including toilets, faucets, drains, disposals, and water leaks
- Complete electrical repairs such as outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
- Repair and install household appliances
- Perform drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including turns and make-ready work
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform preventive maintenance throughout the community
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
QualificationsRequired
- EPA HVAC Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting
- Plumbing repair experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
