Job Summary
We have several positions available. We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Line Cook, PrepCook, Dishwasher, and Counter help to join our culinary team. These roles involve preparing and cooking food items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting the overall food service operations, Taking orders and running the register. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation, strong attention to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering settings, is highly valued but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to menu specifications
- Cook and assemble dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle food safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and food handling
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving is advantageous
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen as needed
