Community Pharmacies is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our Cornish, Maine team. Our Cornish pharmacy is open:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Sunday: CLOSED
✓ A base schedule of just 30.5 hours per week
This is a full-time position with a 30.5-hour base schedule. There are always opportunities to pick up additional shifts, particularly for a flexible pharmacist who would like to work additional hours.
✓ Flexible scheduling options
For the right candidate, we can also explore a Thursday–Wednesday, week-on/week-off schedule, providing an exceptional amount of flexibility and extended time off. The person hire for this position will work with the PIC to design the schedule that works best for both pharmacists.
✓ You won't be doing it all yourself
Our pharmacists have strong technician coverage and corporate support staff to help keep the pharmacy running efficiently. The role is busy and offers a variety of responsibilities, but you’ll have a supportive team around you to help manage the workload.

Our Cornish location has a strong emphasis on interprofessional collaboration and rural healthcare, including a close working relationship with the local federally qualified health center (FQHC). This provides opportunities to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and play an active role in supporting the health of the local community.
About the Position
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, motivated pharmacist who enjoys working with patients and being part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately process and verify prescriptions.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other staff.
- Provide excellent customer service and patient consultation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Stay current with pharmacy practice trends and technology.
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative pharmacy environment.
