We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part time Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and possess strong communication skills. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, driving sales, and maintaining store standards.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and managing inventory.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate product knowledge and engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Any knowledge of archery bow setup, firearms and fishing is preferred.
