Duties
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring efficient service and a positive atmosphere for customers and staff alike
- Oversee food preparation, food handling, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions using systems such as Toast POS to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Familiarity with 3rd party delivery system like Grubhub, Door dash, Uber Eats
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members in customer service excellence, coffee brewing techniques, and food industry best practices
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; place orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Implement sales strategies to boost revenue while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety procedures, and café policies at all times
- Schedule staff shifts efficiently using time management skills to meet operational demands
Qualifications
- Proven barista experience with a deep understanding of coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast strong cashiering skills required
- Familiarity with 3rd party delivery system like Grubhub, Door dash, Uber Eats
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and foster a collaborative work environment

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
