We’re looking for a dependable CDL-A Truck Driver to safely transport materials and freight between PPS facilities and customer locations while maintaining high service and safety standards. This role plays a key part in supporting daily operations through timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and professional customer interactions.

What You’ll Do
-
Safely operate CDL-A commercial vehicles to transport materials, freight, and equipment to customer and facility locations.

Comply with all DOT regulations, local and federal transportation laws, and company driving policies.

Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment remains in safe operating condition.

Report vehicle issues, incidents, accidents, or damages immediately to leadership.

Load, unload, and secure freight while verifying shipment accuracy and delivery documentation.

Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, fuel records, and related transportation paperwork.

Deliver materials on schedule while providing professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Operate within assigned routes while adapting to changing delivery schedules and operational demands.

Support warehouse or production floor operations during slower delivery periods as needed.

Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment after completing required training.

Assist with maintaining organized work areas, trailers, and equipment.

Work collaboratively with plant leadership, dispatch, and operations teams to support daily production and delivery goals.

Follow all PPE requirements and company safety procedures while working in industrial and customer environments.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
What You’ll Need
-
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with an acceptable driving record.

2+ years of CDL-A driving experience preferred, including experience operating 53-foot trailers and flatbeds.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to comply with all DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety policies.

Forklift certification or prior forklift experience preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete accurate paperwork and delivery documentation.

Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime, weekends, evenings, or extended shifts based on operational needs.

Ability to regularly lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to sit, drive, enter and exit vehicles, and remain alert for extended periods during 8–12 hour shifts.

Ability to work outdoors and in industrial environments exposed to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Ability to bend, kneel, climb, secure loads, and perform repetitive physical movements throughout the workday.

Willingness to travel between customer and facility locations as required.
