Thank you for your interest in working with Whitmire Counseling and Supervision. We are a growing locally owned private practice. Our goal is to make quality counseling available to more of the population, while providing a supportive and encouraging environment for therapists. We are located off Highway 290 right outside the inner loop, an ideal location for serving a variety of populations.
We offer counseling services to individuals, families, children and teens with diverse mental health issues. We accept insurance and private pay. We are in the process of moving into a bigger suite that allows space for multimodalities to be used including: art therapy, sandtray, play therapy and more!
Our current need is someone who has experience working with children and adolescence, but is also open to having some adult clients.
Candidates should have a Texas-issued clinical license ( LPC, LCSW or LMFT but we are also considering LPC-Associates.) We are looking for a part time, with the ability to grow to full time, contract therapist. The job is primarily in person but with hybrid options.
As we grow we want to create an environment that supports therapists and provides community for the sometimes isolating work of private practice. We also take part in advocacy for therapists in the State of Texas and are committed to bettering the future for therapists and increasing access to mental health treatment.
