Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Banquet Manager to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating banquet events from setup to breakdown, ensuring all details align with client specifications and company standards.
- Supervise banquet staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control for banquet supplies, including food, beverages, and equipment, while minimizing waste.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling.
- Support kitchen management by supervising food production and ensuring timely delivery of dishes during events.
- Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, shift management, and training initiatives to develop team skills.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management, especially within banquet or catering settings.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally.
- Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost-effective food management practices.
